Gassama and Jedidi to take control over AFCON semifinals

The African football governing body CAF has unveiled the referee appointments for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations semifinals to be played in Durban and Mbombela respectively, on 6 February 2013. Two pre-list officials for the 2014 FIFA World Cup will take charge of this task: Gambian Bakary Gassama and Slim Jedidi of Tunisia.

For both officials, it will be their third match as head referee at this Nations Cup. While Gassama already oversaw Tunisia 1:0 Algeria and South Africa 2:2 Morocco, Jedidi handled Mali 1:0 Niger and Cap Verde 2:1 Angola.
