Bosnian FIFA referee Emir Alečković has been officially suspended because of a report made against him. He is accused to have sent inappropriate text messages to some boys.
The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported the news on its website (click here to read) confirming that the suspension will last until the end of the whole proceedings. It is still not clear whether the situation is related to his experience at EURO U-19 or whether it is something coming from his country. More information will be posted here in due course.
Alečković returned home from Lithuania after having officiated only one match at the EURO U-19 tournament, Georgia-France, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
